The Nike LeBron VI “Big Apple” is covered in candy apple red perforated leather, in honor of one of LeBron’s favorite cities, New York City. The candy apple red sits atop a unique speckled midsole, and has the LeBron lion head logo on the tongue. The LeBron VI “Big Apple” dropped today at select retailers in NYC, including ARC, Niketown, and House of Hoops for $140.

“GET LOST” ON VINYL
The Magnetic Fields are also happy to announce that their 1995 release “Get Lost” is now available for the first time on 180-gram vinyl from Merge. Both “Get Lost” and 1994’s “The Charm of the Highway Strip”–available at retailers and direct from Merge’s website–come packaged with a coupon that allows purchasers to download high quality 320kbps MP3 versions of the albums. The “Get Lost” and “Charm” vinyl releases follow “Distortion,” which was released this past summer on vinyl from Nonesuch Records. Look for a vinyl version of “69 Love Songs” in 2009 to mark the 10th anniversary of the original CD release.

Every few a months, a white person will put on some Jazz and pour themselves a glass of wine or scotch and tell themselves how nice it is. Then they will get bored and watch television or write emails to other white people about how nice it was to listen to Jazz at home. “Last night, I poured myself a glass of Shiraz and put Charlie Parker on the Bose. It was so relaxing, I wish I had a fireplace.” Listing this activity as one of your favorites is a sure fire way to make progress towards a romantic relationship with a white person.
